FAQs

What is the format of the class?
The flow is simple – Each week, you’ll have five days of guided study in your workbook. Then you’ll come to class and have time to discuss what you’ve studied with your group. We’ll close with a teaching on the passage you have studied and discussed.

Will childcare be provided?
Yes, limited childcare is available upon reservation. Be sure to follow the link provided in your confirmation email when you register for the study.

Will I be assigned to a table or a leader?
Yes, we will be assigning ladies to a table and a leader! This way, you don’t have to wonder if you’ll have someone to sit with each week, and you’ll be able to build community more easily throughout the season.

Who will be teaching?
We have a team of women from our church that will be teaching each week! They all have a love for Scripture and a heart for helping women experience Jesus.

What will we be studying? Do I need to come prepared?
We are studying the book of Joshua this fall! You do not need to have anything prepared for the first week. But feel free to pre-read through the book of Joshua!

Is there a cost to participate?
The $12 registration fee helps cover the cost of your workbook plus snacks and coffee that will be served each week.

Who can attend? Is this just for Summit Ladies?
We welcome women of all ages who call Summit their home church, as well as women who live in the area and would like to study along with us!

Do I have to be there every week? What happens if I miss a Bible Study?
We encourage everyone to commit to being there every week. But we understand that interruptions happen. The weekly teaching will be posted each week right here or on our app if you need to catch up.

Testimonies

"In my early years, studying the Bible gave me guidance and direction in how I should think and act. But in my later years of studying the word, I have simply just enjoyed being in God’s presence, learning more about his character, about who he is."
– June Hendren

“It is no longer a box to check or a measure of my own righteousness, but an intimate relationship with the God who makes His presence known on every page of Scripture.”
– Mariah Fowler

“It keeps me from sin. It strengthens my faith. It gives me wisdom. It gives me a solid foundation. It helps me know how to pray.”
– Jennifer Cherry

“I know no other way than to study His Word daily. It’s like breathing to me now.  But it’s so different than studying anything else - the more I study, the more I realize I don’t know.”
– Beth Moore

“When the world is chaos, the Word is constant.”
– Rachel Butler
