At The Summit Church, we take seriously Jesus' command to go to the nations. From the Great Commission in Matthew 28 until the Great Multitude in Revelation 7, God invites us to join Him in the Great Pursuit.

The International Mission Board (IMB) is the sending organization for all our Summit churches. It is our access to the world!

Send Relief exists to serve the local church, coming alongside congregations, missionaries, and local partners who are already faithfully at work in their communities. Whether across the street or around the world, Send Relief trips help churches engage in God’s mission. You will meet real needs, strengthen communities, and share the hope of Jesus through hands-on ministry.

Send Relief's Ministry Center in Hamilton exists to serve the refugee claimants, international students, and newcomers who come seeking a fresh start—helping them find hope in Christ as they resettle and rebuild. Known as the Waterfall Capital of the World and located halfway between Toronto and Niagara Falls, Hamilton is a diverse, culturally rich city where over 200 languages are spoken and 1 in 4 children lives below the poverty line. In the middle of real need, the gospel is taking root.

This mission experience is a chance to partner with our Send Relief Ministry Center, local churches, and communities across Hamilton. As the center begins serving displaced individuals, newcomers, and underserved neighbors, you'll help meet both physical and spiritual needs—through compassion ministry projects, partnerships with local organizations, and hands-on service alongside local churches. Your work will leave a lasting impact.

COST: Approx. $1600 to $1800 total cost

Requirements to be sent as a Long-Term missionary from The Summit Church:
1. Follower of Jesus Christ
2. Member of The Summit Church
3. Recommendation from the Global Engage Pastor
4. Completion of training and preparation requirements

Process to go as a Long-Term Missionary:
1. Complete application (part 1 & 2) and references.
2. Get a background check.
3. Make an appointment with our mission’s staff at [email protected]
4. Raise support if necessary
5. Attend pre-field training
6. Interview with the Global Engage
7. Go! After seeking the will of God and preparing you are ready to be commissioned by your local church.
