Leadership

Meet Our Lead Pastor

JACKSON KENNEDY

Jackson grew up in Stuttgart, Arkansas. He attended Ouachita Baptist University, where he earned a degree in Biblical Studies. In 2018, he and his wife Bekah moved to Conway, where Jackson served in full-time ministry while pursuing a Master’s degree in Discipleship from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

After discerning a call to church planting, Jackson, Bekah, and their daughter Caroline moved to Greenbrier in early 2026. Jackson has a deep desire to see a genuine move of God in the city and is humbled and excited to join in the work God is already doing there.

Jackson and his family love serving the church and opening their lives to the people God brings around them.

Frequently Asked Questions

We know stepping into something new can bring a lot of questions. Below are some of the most common things people are asking as we prepare for Summit Greenbrier. If you don’t see your question here, we’d love to connect with you.
What is the timeline?
We’re approaching this in three phases as we prepare to launch in Fall 2027:

Phase 1 (April–September 2026): Exploring & Connecting
During this phase, we’ll host an additional coffee-style vision gathering. (date to be announced).

We’ll also spend intentional time meeting with individuals and families who are considering being part of the plant, answering questions, sharing more of the vision, and helping people discern their next step.

Phase 2 (September 2026–March 2027): Formation & Preparation
In this phase, we’ll begin preparing those who feel called to be part of the launch. The focus won’t be on programs or roles, but on spiritual formation and living out the mission of Jesus in everyday life.

This includes learning how to build biblical community in homes and neighborhoods, as well as gathering for prayer nights, serving together in the city, and creating opportunities to engage people relationally.

Phase 3 (March–July 2027): Launch Preparation
During this phase, we’ll begin preparing for the practical aspects of launching Sunday gatherings in Fall 2027.

This includes training for specific areas of service (like kids ministry, hospitality, and more), while continuing to prioritize spiritual health, unity, and mission as a church family.

Where will we gather?
We don’t have a finalized location just yet, and that’s intentional at this stage.

As we move closer to launch, we’re exploring a variety of options throughout the city. Our goal is to be where God leads us, while also stewarding our resources wisely and positioning ourselves to reach people effectively.
If I feel called to go, do I have to move to Greenbrier?
No, there is no expectation to move.

Many of those joining the launch team will continue living in surrounding communities, including Conway. Our desire is for people to follow the Lord’s leading, if that includes moving closer, we would celebrate that, but it’s not something we require or expect.

What matters most is a shared sense of calling and a willingness to be part of what God is building in Greenbrier.
What does it look like to commit to being part of the launch team?
Committing to the launch team is about staying connected, growing spiritually, and actively participating in what God is building in this season.

1. Stay Connected
Sign up to receive Summit Greenbrier updates. This is the primary way we’ll communicate about prayer opportunities, events, trainings, and important next steps.

2. Engage Each Phase
Each phase of the process invites a deeper level of involvement:

●Phase 1: Meet with leadership, join in prayer, and invite others who may be interested in learning more.

●Phase 2: Participate in trainings, attend prayer nights, and engage in opportunities to serve and connect in the city.

●Phase 3: Step into serving based on your gifting and receive training in a specific area of ministry in preparation for launch.

Our prayer is not just to launch a church, but to see people encounter Jesus and be part of what He’s doing in Greenbrier.
