SendU Next Steps

1.  Begin the SendU journey by clicking and completing the general application below.
2.  In 2020, The Summit Church is offering two Summit-specific trips to Java, Indonesia and Hanoi, Vietnam. To register for those trips complete the General Application Step 1, and then complete the trip application for the specific trip below. (For SendU applicants going through a campus ministry, you only need to complete the general application in Step 1)
3.  Be (or become) a Summit member:  If you’re not already, you must complete Step 1 of our membership class called Growth Track before receiving funding.  If you have a home church in another city, you can also be a WatchCare member. Click here to signup for our next Growth Track Step 1 class.
4.  Commit to pray everyday while overseas and ask God if He would send you for long-term work in the future.
If you’re accepted to SendU, you will receive:
  • SendU Prayer Mentor:  An adult in the church will be matched with you to pray for your trip every single day you are overseas.  He/she will connect with you on the front end of your trip to gather prayer requests, and then on the back end of your trip to debrief with you and hear what God did!
  •  Funding: SendU participants involved in the Summit specific trips will receive $750 from The Summit to go towards your trip expense. SendU participants going with a campus ministry will receive $500.
