The Women's Ministry
We EXIST…
To carry out the mandates God gives us in Psalm 78:4, 6-8. “We will tell to the generations to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done…that they should teach them to their children that the generation to come might know; even the children yet to be born, that they may rise and tell them to their children. That they should put their confidence in God and not forget the works of God but keep His commandments.”
Our Belief…
We believe ministries to women need to be intentional, relational, and multi-generational. Scripture gives up the basis for this type of ministry in Titus 2. Generations before us enjoyed naturally occurring relationships between women of all ages as everyday tasks drew them together. In our current culture, we have to pursue that type of encouragement more aggressively. We are seeking to do that through….
- Bible Studies- Multiple opportunities for ladies to study beginning each fall and spring along with short session studies during the summer break.
- Chat Events- Large events 3-4 times a year designed to provide women with Biblical encouragement while we CHAT, Connect, and grow together.
- Mom Link- An informal, discipleship ministry, designed to build relationships between Moms of all ages for the purpose of Biblical teaching and encouragement. We meet once a month on Tuesday from 11:00-1:00.
Our DESIRE…
Our desire is to equip women to choose to live counter to their culture. Women who base their life purpose not on the prevailing philosophy of this world, but as students of God’s word, live intentionally to pursue biblical truth and live it out in the relationship to those around them. Women who have a heart to seek God in every season of their journey so that they live as singles, or wives or mothers or widows a lifestyle that brings honor to Christ.
