What to Expect
Summit Kidz is a dynamic ministry for families.
Expect to be engaged throughout the week with your child as they become more and more devoted to Jesus. We come along side you and provide help as you spiritually train your kids. This philosophy is taken from Deuteronomy 6 as Moses tells the Hebrew families that it is their personal responsibility to teach their children about the Lord. Don’t let that intimidate you though! We provide lots of great resources for you to help with discipling your kids at home.
Summit Kidz is a safe environment.
Every leader goes through an interview process and a Federal Background Check. Each Sunday, every child entering the Kidz Ministry must be checked in and receive a security tag. The parent must present their tag at pick-up time in order to get their child. We allow siblings age 12 and older to pick up younger siblings if you choose, but they will need the security tag that matches the child’s tag in order to do so.
Each family receives a security number.
If your number flashes on the display during the service, please come immediately to the child’s ministry area. We only flash the number in cases of emergency or if a child cannot be consoled.
No one is allowed in the Kidz Ministry areas once the service has started unless they have clearance from the Ministry Coordinator. See someone at the check-in desk for clearance.
