Another wonderful night of MONDAY PRAYER. The entire night was a time of praying for the lives of men and women who need Christ. Also encouraged to hear that two other churches were meeting at the same time tonight for revival prayer, others have met in the last few days. As some of you may know, the Lord has graciously led us in five weeks of spontaneous nightly prayer meetings that have lasted 2-4 hours each night. Last night was the answer to a 12-year prayer for many people. Twelve years ago The Summit Church began out of turmoil and conflict in a sister church in Little Rock. One of the most beautiful things about what God is doing is the amount of biblical teaching that is occurring. Almost every night we are led to begin with a teaching from God’s word. Then, throughout the nights, much scripture is being read, expounded on, etc. This has been the pattern almost every night for the last four weeks. After a prayer meeting in a tornado Monday, and a postponement because of weather Tuesday, we gathered again Wednesday night. We began with a teaching on Isaiah 30 seeing together that repentance and rest (vs. 15) is the pathway to incredible salvation.
