When we take breaks, we create space. That's what a break is...removing what ordinarily fills up space in your life so that you can do something else (travel, rest, play, etc.). However, many times, a break from school/work/routine coincides with a spiritual break. We tend to check-in to our vacation and check-out of our relationship with Christ. BUT THE EXACT OPPOSITE NEEDS TO BE TRUE! In fact, Luke 5:16 tells us that in the middle of Jesus' ministry (which was gaining tremendous momentum), He took off to the mountains to take a break.....
