I got the call on Saturday morning. Dan could barely get the words out through her tears. "Honey... I think we lost the baby." Last week, four children burned to death in a fire caused by one negligent day care worker, violent political unrest in Libya forced 100,000 people to flee their homes, and a close friend of ours began chemotherapy to treat an inoperable brain tumor (which he found out about in January).
